Supply Chain Operations within Route Services has a key role to play in renewing and enhancing Britain’s railway by combining a diverse range of services. It is a “one stop shop” for the entire network; facilitating the effective procurement and supply of plant, materials and logistics. We strive to ensure that these activities are supported through the effective management of a fleet of over 2,500 rail vehicles, including Traction and Rolling Stock (T&RS), On-Track Machines (OTM) and On-Track Plant (OTP).

We’re currently looking for an individual who likes to solve difficult problems using their knowledge, experience and skills of T&RS fleet maintenance management, processes and techniques. They shall be capable of working independently and coping with an assortment of technical challenges to enable the successful delivery of competence and assurance responsibilities as an entity in charge of maintenance.
