Job Description

You will be responsible for delivering a wide range of Systems Engineering related tasks and projects, working within and leading project teams within our engineering consultancy business or as an integral part of our clients' project teams.

You will be undertaking a broad range of Systems Engineering related activities with a particular focus on:

  • Technology management and roadmapping

  • Asset Management

  • Concept and feasibility studies

  • Options assessment, trade-off studies and sensitivity analysis

  • Decision analysis

  • Lifecycle process definition

  • New product development

The projects you will be working on will embrace a wide range of market areas including defence, aerospace, rail, marine, power and energy and industrial sectors.

Requirements

You will have a good degree in an Engineering related subject and potentially post-graduate qualifications.

The ideal candidate will be an engineer with experience in design, development and procurement of high value assets looking to progress a career in Systems Engineering. You will also have a fundamental understanding of mechanical or electrical engineering principles. You will have a clear understanding of the Systems Engineering lifecycle and demonstrate application of relevant methodologies and toolsets to deliver innovative solutions.

You will be able to demonstrate strong skills in the interpretation of clients' technical needs, preparation of proposals and technical leadership on projects. Previous exposure to a consultancy environment would be an advantage. You will possess knowledge in sectors relevant to our business.

You will also possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written and have experience of direct client liaison. Excellent customer-facing skills will be necessary.
