Job Title: Master Technician (Central Engineering)

Location: Mobile to all garages - West London

Salary: Depending on skills and experience

They are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with proven experience in maintaining complex highly technological transport systems. Job Role:

The Master Technician will be the focal point in the Business for technical issues and diagnostic problems and will provide advice, guidance and training to the company's Engineers as required. No day will be the same as your shifts and location change depending on the needs of our garages.

Key Requirements:

  • Your organisation and time management skills will be integral to your success in this role.
  • You will be juggling the demands from the garages with other responsibilities such as completing projects assigned by the management team and drafting reports about performance and areas of improvements within the garages.
  • Your confidence and strong communication skills combined with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stake holders will be what make you stand out.
  • You will also be recognised for your ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines without compromising the quality of the work carried out.
  • This role is suitable for an analytical and logical thinker with an in-depth technical knowledge and a relevant Electrical Safety Certificate.
  • Proficient IT skills are essential combined with the ability to use or quickly learn to use any databases or manufacturer diagnostics systems. An NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant subject such as heavy vehicle engineering is essential combined with health and safety knowledge.
  • You will also ideally hold a driver's/PCV licence.
  • Experience of working as a Mechanical or electrical engineer in the bus industry will give you an added advantage.
