We currently have a number of Business Development Consultant opportunities in our sales teams as a result of internal movement, promotion and strategic growth plans.  Our Business Development Consultant roles develop and manage the relationship between Festo and designated accounts in order to maximise and secure the profitable sales of our products and services.

Our BDC roles are all home based and are national roles therefore personal circumstances must allow for national travel, some overnight stays and the ability to function effectively from a home based office.

Business Development Consultant – Indirect Sales (Code BDC Ind)

This Business Development Consultant role in our Indirect team of five is expected to deliver accelerated growth and therefore we are looking specifically for someone who enjoys and has the ability to open doors and generate new business whilst staying motivated.
In order to be considered for this role, you will be qualified to ONC/ HNC in mechanical/ electrical engineering (or equivalent).  You will have previous external sales experience and a proven track record in the management and development of accounts in the distribution market.  Experience of working within supply chain management or for a large Distributor or Manufacturer would be an advantage.

In addition to this you will have a good standard of computer literacy and strong interpersonal/communication skills.  Ideally candidates for this role will be located within the PE postcode area or in surrounding areas as this is central to the portfolio of accounts being developed.
