We currently have a number of Business Development Consultant opportunities in our sales teams as a result of internal movement, promotion and strategic growth plans. Our Business Development Consultant roles develop and manage the relationship between Festo and designated accounts in order to maximise and secure the profitable sales of our products and services.
Our BDC roles are all home based and are national roles therefore personal circumstances must allow for national travel, some overnight stays and the ability to function effectively from a home based office.
Business Development Consultant – Electric Light Assembly (Code BDC ELA)
The Business Development Consultant ELA role is working as part of a team of seven, with a particular focus on maintaining and growing the business in a defined account base in a well-established area.
In order to be considered for this role, you must have the minimum of an ONC in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent and be able to demonstrate success in a previous external sales role in a relevant industry. Knowledge and experience of replicating OEM’s and special purpose Machine Builders with emphasis towards automation solutions incorporating electrical / mechanical drives, PLC programming knowledge would be advantageous as would previous experience of working for a manufacturer but is not essential.
The portfolio of accounts for this role is situated predominantly in the PE, CB, IP, NR, CM postcodes, therefore the candidate will ideally be located in the East of England/Cambridgeshire area.
