A family run company based in Keighley, near Bradford are seeking a Junior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team. If you have the ability to produce accurate CAD drawings and design reports, then you may be the Design Engineer we're looking for.

Due to the location of the role, travel is necessary, therefore access to a car is required.

What will you be doing?

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll join a team of 3 engineers and will be responsible for working on a variety of exciting projects. You'll be heavily involved in the design aspect of projects within the oil, gas and defence industries. You'll display confidence when producing design and performance calculations under minimal supervision, as well as accurately completing BOM's and drawings.

What skills/experience should you have?



* Degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline (such as design engineering, mechanical design engineering)
* Ability to prepare CAD drawings (ideally using Solidworks)
* Knowledge of national and international standards
