Plant Engineer (Fitter/Workshop)

Bristol

£30,000 to £35,000 Base Salary + Training + 24 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Company Pension.

Monday to Friday, 48hrs + 4hrs compulsory overtime paid at 1.25 x base rate, additional overtime available if desired.

A Plant Engineer is required for a very successful and reputable national plant hire company. Working from a brand new site you will benefit internal and external structured training.

The successful candidate will come from any mobile plant, agricultural, HGV/automotive, ex forces, forklifts, PSV/PCV background. You will hold a relevant level 3 engineering qualification as minimum.

The role will entail a variety of mobile plant machinery, including: Telehandlers, Excavators and dumpers. The vast majority of the plant machinery is less than 2 years old and therefore a lot of the work will be on top of the range technology. The Plant Engineer will be workshop based, working within a small team to maintain and repair the plant machinery. The position will also involve spending a significant proportion of time on PDI’s and LOLER inspections.

The company are a national brand with over a dozen depots across the UK. They have recently acquired several new contracts and support the successful through the most up to date plant maintenance and engineering courses and qualifications

The Person Required:

* Service and repair of a variety of plant equipment.
* Work within a Workshop based role.
* PDI and LOLER inspections.
* Monday to Friday working hours 

The Plant Engineer:

* Experienced mechanically biased engineer from mobile plant, vehicle or ex forces background.
* Holds a relevant level 3 engineering qualification
* Willing to work a minimum 52 hour week.  
* Live commutable to the Bristol area
