Quality Engineer (APQP)
A highly reputable and successful Tier 1 Automotive supplier is currently seeking a Quality Engineer (APQP) to join their organisation. As a Quality Engineer (APQP) you will be working in a full time, permanent position, receiving a competitive salary of £30,000 to £35,000. Your main responsibility as a Quality Engineer (APQP) will be to prepare the necessary development phase documentation for the production process.

As a Quality Engineer (APQP), your main duties and responsibilities will include the following:
Produce control plans, flow charts, FMEA’s and other forms of documentation for each new product
Lead the relevant APQP items within the project team
Perform quality assessments
Prepare PPAP submission on time
Be actively involved in and participate on new product development
To be successful in the role of Quality Engineer (APQP), you must be able to demonstrate the following:
Excellent knowledge of APQP
Proven experience within the automotive industry
Working knowledge of PPAP documentation, flowcharts and FMEA process control
Educated to HNC level in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or similar qualification
Knowledge of TS16949 quality standards
This position is based in Redditch and is easily accessible from Bromsgrove, Worcester, Birmingham and Stratford-upon-Avon.
This is a permanent, full time position, where in return you will receive a competitive salary of £30,000 to £35,000 per annum, plus excellent company benefits that include contributory pension scheme.
