One of the UK's leading names in the provision of energy services is looking for a Project Manager to drive their growth across the Yorkshire region. Scope of work
As Project Manager you will hold responsibility for projects from conception through to delivery. In this position, you will have regular customer interface with existing clients as you travel across the region to meet customers and understand their requirements, before compiling a proposal for tender. Liaising and drawing upon resource from numerous internal departments and external suppliers, as Project Manager you will call upon your mechanical engineering expertise and commercial acumen to prepare a comprehensive, detailed quotation and present it to the customer.
Upon agreement, you will liaise with all sub-contractors and internal departments, putting together a comprehensive project plan complete with deliverables in order to achieve the delivery of the project on-time and within budget. The role of Project Manager will see you hold responsibility for engineering projects ranging anywhere in value from between £25,000-£2m, and can cover anything from boiler installations to district heating projects.
* Hold a proven record in Project Management within an engineering environment
* Have a mechanical engineering background and/or relevant engineering qualifications
* Ideally have expertise in industrial heating
* Be able to demonstrate the application of technical engineering and commercial acumen in project management
* Be able to work on your own or as part of a team
* Be able to liaise with customers and develop relationships

The company is paying a basic salary of between £45,000-£55,000 with a bonus, company car, contributory pension and 25 days holiday + 8 stats.
