Senior Instrument Control and Electrical Engineer
Bring your impressive skills and experience as a Senior Instrument Control and Electrical Engineer to BP – and we can promise you exposure to world-leading technologies and high-profile growth projects.
Our Acetyls Business is one of the core strategic businesses with our Refining & Marketing Segment. The Acetyls Technology team, based in Hull, creates and delivers technological solutions to improve performance and support the development of projects. This is your chance to play a central role in its success and maintain our position in technology leadership.
As a key member of the Acetyls Projects, Engineering and Licensing Team, your focus will be on supporting major acetyls projects and operating assets worldwide. This will involve everything from providing ICE input to the Acetyls Process Design Package and ensuring all relevant requirements are met and understood by the project team, to offering technology-specific ICE mentoring and training to Licensees and acting as a subject matter expert. Developing and maintaining relationships with industry experts, suppliers and vendors will also be key.
As well as a degree in Control and Instrumentation Engineering, you will combine Chartered Status and membership of a relevant professional organisation with a background in industrial manufacturing. It goes without saying that this will include substantial instrumentation, controls and electrical experience. You will also be a role model for personal and process safety and bring expertise in acetyls technology-related DCS systems engineering.
